The Oven Bake Element is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool ovens. Located at the bottom of the oven cavity, it is responsible for providing the consistent heat necessary for baking and roasting. This element ensures even cooking by heating up uniformly and maintaining the set temperature throughout the cooking process.

Over time, the bake element can wear out or become damaged due to repeated exposure to high temperatures, spills, or power surges. Normal wear and tear, as well as accidental impacts during oven cleaning or rack adjustments, can also lead to the element malfunctioning.
