This is a door gasket designed to seal the oven door and prevent heat from escaping during cooking. It fits around the perimeter of the door to maintain proper temperatures inside the oven cavity. Replace this gasket if you notice heat leaking from around the door, uneven cooking, or if the gasket appears cracked, torn, or flattened.
