Began by replacing the burner and igniter assemblies. Learned that was not the solution. Proceeded with further diagnosing. Consulted online resources, such as Maytag website, and discovered that the two likely causes were either the spark module or wiring harness. Ordered both parts, and replaced inside of the oven. Being cautious, I ordered new burner controls (infinity switches) for the front two burners. I installed them and was very happy with the results. The new controls allowed me to increase or decrease the amount of heat without what you might call thermal runaway (A sudden switch to full-on).
