Broken ice enclosure causing ice jams or warm air leaks? Replace this ice path housing. Moderately easy DIY repair—remove one screw and wire harness.
I ordered the part from Appliance Parts Pro and repaced the unit with little trouble. A good tip I got from their site was that the coupler was lefthand thread. Read more

The Ice maker on the whirlpool was easy to change. It was 3 screws and disconnect the power. Then reverse the process. Had to wait 24 hours for the unit to cool to start making ice. Read more
