Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Broken coupling   Richard B. • Gibbstown , NJ • March 22, 2015

Background - Wife and I are 78 years old. Since there is no budget for new or repair we did it ourselves. I have COPD and could no have done it without her help. Watch you tube examples and followed them. replaced the coupler motor to trans and since we were there replaced the clutch and agitator kit. Also replaced hoses with new stainless hoses. Just tested and everything seems to work as new. Not bad for a machine 12-15 years old. I looked at new ones but the EPA has turned them into... Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Washer would only spin.   Byron V. • Bellevue , MI • February 04, 2020

Found the wonderful parts diagrams you most generously share online and a couple of YouTube videos . I determined it should be repairable. In my cast the agitator shaft was frozen (rusted) in place. I was very fortunate to have been able to eventually remove it with the use of a lot of BP penetrating oil and heat. Long and short the replacement parts fit perfectly and the washer is running like new. Special thanks to the online support make my repair possible. Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You 1 water leaking on the floor at left side and 2 occasionally tub filling a number of inches when sitting   Kenneth S. • San Carlos , CA • April 15, 2016

1. Sleeve for input, Injector valve, nozzle and seal for input fixed this problem. Probably the main part that was the trouble was a deformed Injector Valve which is a rubber tube with an internal retention groove at the wide part that grips the Nozzle. The Sleeve and the Nozzle are hard plastic parts that basically looked fine, but I replaced them anyway while I was in there. Additionally I replaced the rubber Seal for Input which seals the plastic input fitting to the tub just to make sure... Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Pretty much everything   Charlotteanne Y. • Kingston , IL • August 06, 2018

Here's the story. All my appliances except the dryer broke. Yeah. talk about bad luck. First I tried to fix the refrigerator. Replaced both motherboard and inverter board. Now it wakes up but the compressor does not kick in. Need another part. The washer, well I have to pull out the sink to get enough room to pull out the washer to fix it. Since the refriigerator is still in the middle of the kitchen, I don't need to tear apart another room. Nevertheless, let me say this, I love my "older"... Read more
