The Switch, Infinite (RF) is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool ranges. This switch controls the heat level of the right-front burner on the cooktop, providing the user with the ability to adjust the burner to the desired temperature setting. It works by regulating the electrical current sent to the burner.
Signs of a bad infinite switch include:
- The burner not heating or being stuck on high heat
- Difficulty adjusting the temperature setting
- The burner failing to turn on or off
Common causes of failure include wear from frequent use, electrical surges damaging the internal components, or physical damage from improper handling.
This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.
