Dan for Model Number Whirlpool DU1055XTVSO My dishwasher won't run or power up. No operation, no keypad response, and no LEDS or display. I thought that maybe it was the control panel so I bought a new one from this site but it still doesn't work. I have also checked the power source as well and that is good. Could it be the door latch switches or keypad? How can I test the door latch switches? Can I jump them with a pigtail? Do you have any other suggestions? I would greatly appreciate any feedback.
Answer Hello Dan. It sounds like the thermal fuse W10258275 is bad and will need to be replaced. You can test the thermal fuse. It should read closed for continuity. The fuse is located on the control board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
