Frank for Model Number DU1055XTSB3 All functions on the control panel are inoperable and the green light that normally comes on when the door is shut does not come on. I have checked voltage going into the switches and out of the switches(120V)also checked voltage in and out of the fuse (120V). I have looked at both sides of the circuit board and can see no obvious problem. Does this sound like a problem with the control panel or circuit board(or something else)?
Answer Hello Frank. It sounds like the issue is with the thermal fuse W10258275 and not the control board or panel. Make sure the fuse is reading closed for continuity. If not, replace the fuse. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
