This cooktop gasket seals the gap between the cooktop and countertop to help prevent spills and moisture from entering the cabinet while restoring a secure fit and finished appearance. Ideal when the original edge seal is worn or missing. What it does:

• Seals the cooktop edge to keep liquids and crumbs from getting under the appliance — symptoms: visible gaps, pooling liquids, or debris under the cooktop.
• Cushions and stabilizes the cooktop to reduce vibration and rattling during use — symptoms: shifting or noisy cooktop.
• Protects countertop and cabinetry from heat, spills, and food buildup that can cause staining or damage — symptoms: discolored or damaged counter edges.
• Restores fit and finish for a clean, professional appearance — symptoms: loose or uneven cooktop edges.

• Disconnect power (and gas, if applicable) and allow the cooktop to cool before starting work.
• Remove the old gasket and thoroughly clean and dry the mating surfaces before installing the new gasket.
• Press the new gasket into place along the cooktop edge; trim excess material as needed without overstretching.
