Fixing it was extremely easy, I just followed the instructions provided in the AppliancePartsPros video. After getting the part I simply shut off the water to the fridge, unhooked the part's water lines, unclipped the head inside the fridge, installed the new one and reconnected the lines. Connects the dispenser motor to the ice bucket auger. Replace if stripped, worn, or broken to restore proper torque transfer and smooth ice dispensing.
Removed drip pan from ice dispenser. Removed two screws hidden behind drip pan to loosen bezel at bottom. Carefully lifted bezel off top hook to expose controller board cabling. Disconnected three connectors to control board behind bezel to remove bezel completely. Removed two (possibly three) screws to access the back of the ice chute mechanism.
