How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP7017393 / 5304527929 Dispenser User Interface Control Board

Replaced ice maker and control board. 

Contacted Appliance Parts Pros.com and met the most wonderful agent who recommended the required replacement parts and was spot on. I watched a you tube video that was quite detailed and I was able to install the new parts in a matter of minutes. 

Changed the interface control board. 

Watched the AppliancePartsPros.com video on YouTube showing how to replace the control board on the front of the refrigerator. The repair was exactly as demonstrated, and very simple to complete with just a screwdriver. The replacement board was an exact match and looks perfect. 

I watched a YouTube video and saw how easy it was to change out the control board. I ordered the part which came fairly quickly and replaced the part. 

Replaced the defective part. You should ask a question about my experience! First, I watched your online YouTube about how to repair; you’ve video convinced me that it was a simple task, (I am NOT good at DIY!) I messaged with APP to verify that the panel was the issue and they confirmed. I ordered the part and after watching the APP video, I was able to remove the old part, install the new, all within 5-minutes. Instead of unplugging the refer, I turned off the power at the circuit breaker, easier than pulling out the refer and unplugging it. The driver tips were 2)torx and 2)square drive tips. thanks! 

Got the Dispenser User Interface. Removed 4 screws and unplug the connectors. Reversed the order in about 5 min. I ordered from AppliancePartsPros.com because of the video detailing the process and the cheaper price than other part suppliers. 

This was a very simple repair - unplugged the fridge removed 4 screws, disconnect the old User Interface, connect the new User Interface and re-secured screws, and plugged the fridge back up. I found a few videos on YouTube and felt confident in my ability to do the repair myself. I purchased the replacement User Interface which arrived within a few days. This repair took all of about 10 minutes and I'm very pleased with the result. 

Removed the old one and replaced it with the new one! Very easy repair and the video was a tremendous help!
