How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP7018722 / WR23X37285 Light Switch

Replaced it with a new switch. It was difficult to find the plug to unplug the fridge as its a wall-mounted/fixed frig. The switch wiring inside the frig is however well insulated and I saw no danger of replacing and I did it by myself 

Defective switch. Pry out switch with a screwdriver and replace. 

Ordered new one replaced it 

Replaced with a new part. Took maybe 2 minutes 

After changing the switch light, the light is on. 

Replaced switch 

Popped out the broken one unplugged 2 wires, plugged in the new one and popped the new switch back in place 

Pulled the old one out. Put the new one in. Works great. 

I am a 68 year old woman and didn't think I could get the right part because the frig is very old maybe 20 years. I got on your website saw the part, ordered it got it in 2 days, and repaired my frig in 10 minutes. I looked at a tutorial online and fixed it myself. Thank You 

Ready...I replaced the switch! Funny but this company has helped me replace a magnetron in my microwave, water reservoir and other more complex items. I'm glad they exist. I recommend them to anyone with any kind of appliance issues.
