How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP7018722 / WR23X37285 Light Switch

It was very easy to replace with your instructional video. So easy if fact , that I had my wife replace it in less than 5 minutes! The only tool needed was a putty knife. 

Replaced the switch 

Bought replacement switch replaced bad switch in a few minutes. 

I checked the diagram for my fridge, found the part. Watched the video on this sight, detailing how to do the repair and it took all of five minutes. 

Ordered a new one from AppliancePartsPros.com. 

Easy fix. The part came in three days. I pulled the plug on the frig. Took the broken switch out in five minutes. Plugged in the new part. Voila. Light in the frig. Thanks to ApplianParts for a quick delivery. 

Replaced light switch. 

I simply ordered the switch it pulled out and basically clipped the new one in

Removed the switch. Did the ohm checks with the meter, of course it checked OK , put it back in and it seemed fine. I then started to slightly open and close the switch and got it to flicker and stay on. I ordered on Sunday, had it fixed by Tuesday afternoon. ,
