David February 26, 2020 for Model Number J486B2WH 8" surface element (your part AP2634795) for GE range has 2 adjacent coils. One coil works and the other doesn't. Is it more likely that the coil is burned out; or that a wire or switch is the problem?
1 Answer Hello David, The issue will most likely be the infinite switch. I'm sorry but we will need to ask you to please post a new question including the verified model number from the units' I.D. tag since the one provided will not come up for us as a valid model number. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. Read More...
Eloise October 24, 2019 for Model Number j3420r1wh This is a 1970's electric range by ge. I need to replace all the heating elements and drip pans - 3 small and 1 large. Your site says no page available when I put this model number in. Are there any other models with these parts that wouls be compatible? Thanks Eloise
1 Answer Hello Eloise, unfortunately our Parts Lookup System is dependent on valid model numbers. Your model number is not showing as being listed. We would be unable to cross-reference your model to any other model for parts. What I would suggest is to go to a local appliance parts dealer with the coils and bowls and see if they can find a match as they usually carry a variety of generic parts. Read More...
