How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP3754330 / WB24X10130 Light Switch

The light switch was correct but not the fan switch. The fan switch shipped was 3 On positions with no Off and mounting key was 45 degrees off horizontal. The original switch was 3 On positions with an Off position and mounting key at horizontal. The part number on the bag, my order, and your website was the same. I called your Tech line and talked to a nice lady named Kathy. After some checking, her conclusion was it was the wrong part in the right bag. She promptly sent me another switch with instructions to let you know if the problem continued. The second new switch is correct. It has been installed and is working correctly. The original switch and the second new switch are marked 2311T. The wrong switch is 1702. Thank you for your quick service in correcting my problem. 

Ordered new ones and replaced them. 

Replaced both switches and face plate. Easy job, but difficult to reach with range in place, and job goes much better if you don't drop screws behind your range! 

Ordered a new switch which came the next day! Turned off the electricity and replaced the switch as described on your web site. It was quicker and easier than resetting all the clocks that went off while the electricity was down!

I bought a new light switch and hex nut. Only to figure it came with one description does not tell you that one is included.
