How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP5632405 / WE4M527 Dryer Timer Control

How old is the dryer? Out of the back of the wall, three screws in the back and twist the old-timer and hook the wires and the new timer reassemble 15-minute job 

Ordered timer, watched your video, took off the back panel and took pictures, removed timer with wires attached, removed one wire at a time and placed on new timer, installed a timer. I unplugged the machine first. I think you guys are the best thing since sliced bread 

Received the new parts in two days and installed immediately without issue! Amazingly fast service and even easy finding the correct parts on the site. Couldn’t be happier our drier is back to normal. Particularly because we were using pliers to control the timer for almost a year. Because I never made a repair like this before so I procrastinated thinking it would be a frustrating ordeal. Never should have waited! Appliance parts pros made it painless! 

Switched out the timer and bought a new knob. 

Replaced the timer. 15 minute repair went well. Needed a small torx driver. 

Replaced it 

Replaced the timer (WE4M527), all is well. The incredible thing is how fast the part arrived even with standard shipping, under 48 hours! Couldn't believe it... 

Ordered new ones, and when they arrived it took about five minutes and replaced both. Connected the power and all was well again. 

After watching a repair video, I ordered the parts. They arrived in less than two days. The repair and parts installation went exactly as described, and the dryer was operational in less than 15 minutes. This was an easy fix, about $85 in parts and shipping versus the $295 parts and labor quote from a local repair shop. In hindsight with a little research, I am sure I could have also saved the $80 service call as well.
