We lived with the problem of not having dispensed ice for WAY too long. The repair couldn't have been easier. In total it was a couple of screws and unplugging the old and plugging in the new. The only concern I have is that the exact part number I needed was discontinued (needed the 'B' but took the 'C'). It appears the only difference is in the shape of the ice cubes it makes. They seem to take a tad longer to work down the auger and out the shoot. I kept the old square-cube tray and might swap that out to get at the smaller cubes, but all 'n all, it is incredibly simple. I really hope it lasts and the arm doesn't break like the original.
