I had Sears out three times to fix this, and each time, they replaced the entire unit, so this is what I did. I ordered and replaced the entire unit.
It worked, but I think the problem is in the ice cube tray. I have heard, that although it isn't cracked, sometimes minerals build up on the tray and cause them to be sticky. So, first, I took the unit out, and poured hot vinegar into the tray to try and disolve any minerals. It didn't work, actually. It still stuck the ice cubes to the tray and wouldn't release... So, I ordered the entire unit and that did the trick.
I'm puzzled. Next time, I think I'll order just the tray, and try replacing just that for three bucks, instead of 80!
Sears probably should have tried this, instead of charging this girl 300 bucks a pop.
It was very satisfying to fix my own freezer, as an older woman who has never done this type of work, but it was so easy! Thanks to a video on youtube, and applianceparts.pro.
For anyone else needing specific how to for the Samsung RS2545, or any freezer using this part, please see Mike's video that helped me a ton! (Like, you need to remove those little black things on the motor unit legs!!! LOL

Mike Fifer goes through the process, step by step, rather than the generic video for just any ice cube maker, supplied here.
Thanks all!
