I took it out cleaned the machine really good and found I could purchase a new grid from AppliancePartsPros.com. The part wad delivered in a couple of days so I slid it in and stared the ice maker. The repairman couldn't come, so I took out the old one (4 screws and one connection plug) and installed the new one. Voila! It worked! Yay me!
