I have the Kenmore 106.51132213 side by side refrigerator with in door icemaker.
The housing for the ice maker broke, allowing the motor to turn the tray too far and snap some internal components.
I ordered this part, and was able to very easily switch it out using nothing but a #2 Philips head screwdriver and a socket set with the 7mm socket and the 3in extender.
After replacing the unit and all the housing/connections were back in place, I kept the ice maker in the off position and unplugged the refrigerator for 5 minutes. After that, I plugged it back in, turned the ice maker back on, and waited.
Hoping to get ice flowing again soon!
