How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP3130817 / 676413 Latch Kit

Ordered the Latch Kit and replaced the two parts. 

Using your awesome DYI VIDEOS I replaced the detergent door and the latch. Everything works great now! We did have to "adjust" the spring on the lid which wasn't part of the instructions Thank you. Couldn't have done it without the video. 

I researched the issue and determined that it was worth my time to change out the lid spring and latch kit before I called a repair service. I successfully repaired it and saved myself a 75.00 service call fee. 

All of these items went on quickly. The Soap Door latch was the most time consuming but it only took 15 minutes! 

Put the latch on, it is done. 

Replaced lid and latch assembly, 

I replaced the parts ordered and it is now working fine. The Repair Video was extremely useful.

Removed old latch and followed video to install new latch 

We watched your YouTube video and shazam - it went in perfectly. At first when it said to take the inner door panel off, we panicked a bit - - but we followed your directions and it was done in 10-15 minutes. Thanks~~~~
