How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6013694 / WP9704230 Blender Drive Coupler

I followed the video tutorial and took off the old coupler, then I attached the new one. 1 minute fix. 

A new blender was going to cost at least $100 as I like a higher end of appliances. What I liked about your service, was the fact I could watch a video on how to fix my appliance before I actually delved into the project. After watching and seeing it would be about 15 minutes, I ordered. First, the part arrived in two days. FAST! I then replaced the part according to your instructions. It only took me 5 minutes. My son -in - law fixed it. I told him I would show him the instruction video. While I was looking up the video, he used a screwdriver and already had it repaired before I knew it. Blender works fine. 

From the instructions given by Appliance Parts Pro I was able to correctly remove the drive coupler and replace it with no problems. The blender is working once again. 

Followed the video. at first i though it wasn't working, but then i finally got the right quickness of the hammer/screwdriver tap to release the old broken coupler from the threads and it twisted off. easy to thread the new one on. and shipping was SUPER quick. so for around $11 bucks total, i've got a "new" blender. awesome! 

I replaced the blender drive coupler 

Exactly as your very helpful video described, I pried off the old coupler with a flat-head screwdriver, wiped clean the threads, and hand-tightened the new coupler in place. Easy-peasy! 

Took about 10 minutes. Follow the directions in the Appliance Parts Pros video. I ended up prying the old coupler off with a large flat blade screwdriver. The coupler is an aluminum plate covered in rubber. I cut the rubber off the coupler plate with a sharp blade so I could see better. The aluminum is a softer metal than the steel motor shaft, so the coupler came off fairly easy. Just be careful not to mess up the threads on the shaft with the screwdriver.
