I looked up KitchenAid blender on Google. Can't remember my thinking, but I noticed you could purchase the coupler, so I decided to try cleaning up and removing the plastic that was adhered to the blender. The cleanup process was tedious. I had to add GooOff, GooGone, whatever that product is, and let it sit on the plastic, and then I scraped off all of the melted plastic that was adhered to my blender. Then I bought the coupler from you guys. Once I received the coupler, I got on YouTube to see how to replace the coupler. One thing I learned is that your instructions on how to remove the coupler did not work. YouTube video did the trick! I then realized that I didn't need to clean off most of the melted plastic because it has adhered to the metal on the coupler. I didn't realize that the metal piece was part of the coupler. I kept trying to screw the new coupler onto the metal piece of the older coupler. Thought that I had stripped it. Once I realized that, I tried to remove it by your method, which didn't work, and then I went back to YouTube, and their process worked great!
