How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6019577 / WPW10325124 Stand Mixer Phase Control Board

Replaced the speed control lever thinking the detents were worn out. That was not the problem but the new lever did work better. This repair was moderately easy after viewing your video. Ordered and replaced the control plate, control board and governor not knowing which was bad. This was an easy repair and now my wife has a mixer that works like new. 

Followed instructions. Went well, good quality parts and instructions. 

Watched several repair videos here which describe mixer problems and learned that the phase control board was most likely the culprit. I ordered it and a new cardboard housing seal for good measure. Parts came quickly, the video instructions were clear and easy to follow. Mixer works like a charm now. 

Speed control plate, phase control board, housing seal and governor were replaced. Followed videos for replacement and adjustments. Easy to understand, follow and perform repairs. had to adjust (reform) main power contacts to connect when first speed was selected. contacts were bent in the OEM Package, probably from shipping or handling. easy adjustment, compared new to old. Speed adjustment was easy when following the videos. Thank you for providing the tutorials. 

I ordered the part, my husband put it in and it works just like new. A $11.00 part saved me $200.00 plus. 

Ordered Speed Control Plate, Speed Governor and Phase Control Board (3 items which I thought would cover all eventualities). Parts came in four or five days and I watched the extremely clear video which accompanied the order confirmation email before beginning work. Set up on the table with good light and an hour later my machine was running perfectly at all speeds. I did not actually use the Speed Governor as the part in my machine was looking good but the Speed Control Plate and Phase Control Board sorted out all my problems. Afterward, I adjusted the speeds, but the video covered every single aspect precisely. 

I replaced the motor, switch control plate and electronic board. AppliancePartsPros.com was helpful to me when I found a difference between the original field assembly and the new OEM replacement. I at first thought the new part wouldn't fit, but then, by speaking with a very nice representative and by following the instruction video by AppliancePartsPros.com, I was able to install the new part. 

I replaced the "Speed Control; Plate" and the "Phase Control Board" and set the speeds as shown on a YouTube video. Now it works GREAT! 

Found wires disconnected. Re-connected. Works good. 

My husband watched a video on YouTube and realized it might just be the two circuit boards (phase and control). He took the cover off the top, replaced the parts, and it's working again. That thing had sat in the garage for two years at least because we knew of my friend's experience and figured it was a lost cause to try getting it fixed. My husband was cleaning out the garage and decided to see whether there were any videos on YouTube about it before throwing it away. The hardest part of the repair was waiting for the parts to be delivered. Saved me a few hundred dollars!
