How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP4009656 / 12002773 Spring Kit (6 Springs)

I followed your well-produced video and each step was perfectly explained. Since I was taking apart a good deal of the washing machine I decided to replace the springs and drive belt. The old springs appeared to be in good shape but with the machine sometimes wildly spinning I'm sure they worked outside their limits. The spring in the back right through the back panel was a bit tricky because it was more difficult to get some leverage from that angle, the vise-grips worked very well, and using non-locking pliers would be very difficult for those trying without them. A magnetic flashlight was helpful as well. 

Following the procedures described in the repair narratives found on the internet, it went fairly well. The one spring adjacent the motor was problematic due to access and clearance, but over-all it was textbook installation.

Replaced the 6 springs and snubber ring as advised. From the looks of the old snubber ring, I suspect it was mainly worn springs, but I replaced the snubber ring anyhow. Works great now.

Replaced 6 suspension springs for the tub. Also, replaced the snubber ring upon advice from the replies/reviews. I used RepairClinic in the past, but their video links to this problem were not up to par and oversimplified... basically link to other people's repair videos.
