How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP3094463 / 285587 Washer Agitator Thrust Washer

Ordered parts and replaced the old with the new. 

Ordered the repair parts from AppliancePartsPros.com. It was a great website, easy to navigate plus I was able to watch a video to assist with the repair. I received my parts in a timely manner and were exactly what I ordered. Installed the parts in a matter of minutes and washing machine working like brand new. Thanks guys......FANTASTIC....Oh, BTW, the parts were not at all expensive. I will use them AGAIN!!!! 

Replaced the washer for the agitator bolt and our thrust washer was broke as well. Also replace the inner cap while I was at it. 

I ordered and installed the long cam repair kit as shown in the video. It works like new! 

After watching a few YouTube videos, I decided to order the “dogs” and repair my washer. I saved a bundle of money doing the simple repair myself. One bolt to remove. I was easy as pie. 

Replaced the 4 little agitator dogs and decided to replace the other 4 parts as well. 

Replaced cam agitator, auger agitator, thrust washer and agitator. 

On the website of Appliance Parts Pros, I was quickly able to identify the parts for my model. I placed the order, and in just a couple days had the parts. 

I watched a video from the A.P.Pros site and used my model # to locate parts needed to correct this problem. It took 15 minutes using basic home tools.
