Vivian K O'fallon , MO September 03, 2016 Appliance: Whirlpool Washer LSQ9010PG2 Washer wouldn't advance to next cycle I ordered the timer from Appliance Parts Pros. The time came within 24 hours of ordering (amazing service) I brought my laptop to the laundry room and following the step by step instructions on the video and replaced the part within 30 minutes. Honestly, it would have been faster except that I had trouble finding the right size nut driver on my husband's messy work bench. The only thing I could recommend is that the video missed one step. After you put the new timer in and install the knob, you have to push the black pin in to engage the knob. Other than that....A+! Jeffrey H Wilton , ND January 20, 2018 Appliance: Whirlpool Washer LSQ9550PW2 Timer wouldn't advance would not start either except to only fill with water. Replaced the lid switch first, but the timer was making an abnormal noise ( loud clicking sort of ). So I then changed the timer too. The repair was easy and in less than an hour those parts were replaced. The problem I had that took a long time to resolve was the knob on the timer. One of the tabs broke on the new timer when I tried to put the knob on....I ended up drilling a hole in it,installing a 3" #6 machine screw and a miniature nut that fit in the back that still allowed it ( the knob ) to be pulled out to start the cycles and be pushed in to select the cycle....I wish all knobs had a mechanical fastener to hold them in place...spent about 3 1/2 hours trying to figure out how and what would work to hold the knob in place....a few cuss words did no good...Jeff Read More... 1 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes Tools: Nut Drivers, Pliers, Screwdrivers
