How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6007299 / WP2319792 Start Device

Replaced control module and compressor overload devoce. 

Replaced start device. 

I replace the start switch on the compressor. 

Cleaned coils with compressed air (no chande) Replaced defroster sensor and problem appears resolved. Took a day for refrig to stabilize 

Installed the new capacitor and starter. Solved the problem instantly. Refrigerator and freezer cooled down to set levels. The only (minor) complication was that the wire connector was not 100% compatible with the new part. It had to be rotated 180 degrees (the L & N terminals were reversed) and sort of force fitted into the slot. An OK temporary solution but longer term I think I will need to get a new connector and attach it to the wires. Also, the new parts are shorter than the old ones so, as others have already pointed out, the retaining clip is loose and will have to be modified in some way. 

Ordered the Start Device from here and watched the repair videos and boom! Problem solved! 

I found that the condenser fan was running but the compressor was not! I suspected the problem was either the compressor start system or the run capacitor was bad. I went to two different appliance parts stores to purchase the parts. Because the Freezer/Refridg was a Thermador, they could not help me. I had no problem getting the correct parts through AppliancePartsPros.!. Replacing the above parts corrected the problem. By the way, The replacement cost of the freezer/refridge is $10,000! Replaced compressor run capacitor and start device. 

Replaced the capacitor and start relay to the compressor. 

Had to replace overload switch for the compressor.
