Do not do that, instead clean up old breaings and use the cleanest side to on top of new bearing and tap the new bearing in with the old bearing so that your striking the old bearing with the hammer not the new one. Using a chisel to set bearings like in this video is a easy way to cause damage to them or the race the set in.
