- Didn't see any other leaks in machine. No grinding transmission noise. Assumed seal on transmission shaft was bad, since it was a central leak down the rotor. It was a little more difficult to dissemble than the video showed, but not too bad. Got it all back together and seems to be working well. No leaks yet. We found the pump online at AppliancePartsPros.com for our model of Maytag. When we found the part, there was a video posted that was for our exact pump and washer. After watching it, we called Appliance Parts Pros to verify the part. The customer service representative was incredibly helpful and confirmed our diagnosis.
