The constant cooking and age of the appliance I repaired corroded the housing attachment that holds the igniter in place to the burner. Also the screws that hold the burner in place to the stove cover were also corroded which caused the burner itself to not stay in place but fall into the stove. As recommended in your repair video the likely cause was increased resistance in the igniter. Although I could not match the part by oven model number because of its age, I queried your site for oven igniters and matched the part by photo and description. The part that arrived was an exact match. After installation, the oven worked perfect both on auto and manual settings. Read more
