This latch secures the detergent or fabric softener dispenser drawer on a front-load washing machine, keeping it firmly closed during the wash cycle. It clicks into place to hold the drawer shut and releases when pressed to allow access to the dispenser compartments. Replace this latch if the dispenser drawer will not stay closed, pops open during a cycle, or if the latch mechanism is cracked or broken.
