• Ice maker not making ice

The Ice maker on the whirlpool was easy to change. It was 3 screws and disconnect the power. Then reverse the process. Had to wait 24 hours for the unit to cool to start making ice. Read more

A broken cam can be bad news. The door can swing open from its own weight. I ordered a door closure kit (cams) plus shims. My fridge needs a stack of shims on the fridge door to align it vertically. The old shims had broken and pieces fell out. The lack of support may have caused the cams to fail since they sit on the shims. Looked up the damaged parts on appliance parts pros website. Called the support number to verify I was ordering the correct parts. The parts came in two days. I reviewed the videos before starting.
