This micro switch detects door or lid position and tells the appliance when the door is closed so cycles can start or safety interlocks stay engaged. It restores reliable door sensing and helps prevent operation with the door open. What it does:

This is a push on John Guess design elbow used to connect two 5/16" plastic lines together.
