Hotpoint Dryer Axle, Roller, Pulley Parts

Repair went well, replaced the pulley wheel, belt, rear drum bearing. Had an issue after replacement with the dryer stopping after ~5mins or so when running with heat. Fluff cycle would run fine. Details: The lock nut on the pulley wheel didn't feel tight enough so i tried to crimp it back on the pulley arm. It then became way too lose. The Dryer is 10 years old GE Front Load DPVH890JEMG. The drum would intermittently not rotate at the beginning of a cycle and occasionally would rotate but then start and stop throughout the cycle. I did not check error codes, but the windings on the motor were black. So it seemed reasonable that the motor was overheating and sending a signal to the control board to stop. I replaced the drum bearing in the back and also the nylon sliders in the front. It rook some time but was not difficult. I took some extra time to thoroughly clean all the lint from the inside. Read more

After replacing the belt less than a year ago, when it broke again we started to think something may be going on with the idler pulley. Ordered a new belt and pulley wheel, only to have the belt break again the very next day. After a call to customer service explaining the situation, they replaced the belt and pulley wheel which were both under warranty, and suggested replacing the arm itself.
