Ordered a new screen and filter. While waiting for arrival, removed wax covered dishes. Carefully removed wax filled filter and screen cover. Stuffed paper towels in hole to absorb water and prevent wax from entering pump. Prayed ????wax had not entered pump. With plastic knife removed visible wax. Wiped out with paper towels. Dishes were 'gritty' with an almost invisible coating of specks smaller than grains of salt. Prior to ordering parts, I had to determine which part(s) needed replaced and which could benefit from a good cleaning. After viewing Appliance Parts Pros YouTube Videos, I removed the Main Manifold (snaps right off) including the Top Spray Arm. Searched on this site and found likely cause and solution to problem. After watching APP video, I was able to remove dishwasher filter and confirm clogged filter. Ordered the new part and it was shipped quickly. Reinstalled it per video instructions and it worked perfectly! Filters debris from incoming water to protect the inlet valve. Replace if water flow is reduced or clogged with sediment. Confirm fit with your model.
Ordered a replacement valve and installed it. The part from AppliancePartsPro was an exact replacement for the original part. Replaced the hot and cold hoses at the same time to insure no leaks. Cold water settings now work properly again. Read more
