Restore safe, smooth door operation with this dishwasher door spring. It counterbalances the door's weight so it opens and closes in a controlled way, preventing a sudden drop when the original spring breaks or fatigues.
- Provides the tension that counterbalances the dishwasher door through the hinge mechanism
- Helps prevent the door from slamming open or feeling unusually heavy
- Restores smooth, even door movement side-to-side
- Typical symptoms: door drops quickly, feels heavier than normal, uneven motion, or a visibly broken/stretched spring
What's included: 1 door spring Installation notes:
- Disconnect power and shut off water before servicing
- Remove the toe/kick panel to access the hinge area
- Support the door, then move it slightly to relieve tension before unhooking the old spring
- Attach the new spring between the frame anchor and hinge arm; if your model uses two springs, replace both sides for even tension
