Replaces worn or broken range oven door hinges that cause sagging, misalignment, or improper door closure. Restores smooth opening and proper support.
I replaced the hinges and hinge mounts. Upon inspection of the mounts, it seems that they had become slightly deformed on the lower portion, where the heel of the hinge applies pressure to the frame. They both came in three days, as scheduled, but in individual packages and two different brands? They did both fit, and were easy to install. I took off the back cover of the range. I then took out the bolts which had held the control board in. I placed the control overlay on the new control board, and then plugged it in. I bolted the control board in place and replaced the back cover. For $135 in parts and 15 minutes of labor, I did what the appliance repair company wanted to charge me $500 for. Read more
