This replacement part is a black element mounting clip used in ranges or wall ovens. This clip is used for surface elements on electric ranges and ovens. The clip itself connects the surface of the element to the support bracket which allows the stove to heat up. The user might need a new clip or clips if the heating element on the stove is loose, if the heating element is completely detached, or if the clip itself is bent or broken. This clip is black and made of sturdy metal that can withstand heat as well as strain on the clip itself. Installation of this clip is very simple as it just requires replacing the old one with a new one and making sure it is secure. Pliers might be required if the old clip is bent or stuck near or on the heating element. There are no special tools needed for this repair. This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is sold individually. This part is compatible with machines from Frigidaire and other brands like Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, Crosley, Westinghouse, and more.

Replaced element and adjusted wiring after removing rear panel of stove. Tightened one of the contacts. Checked current with meter. Adjusted insulation. I ordered an element and standoffs to keep the element from touching the oven surface but you provided me with the correct replacement which came with the clips unlike the authorized distributor in my area the first time I replaced the element. My wife thinks the oven is working better than the day we first used it. Reattaching the fan shroud... Read more

I replaced the downdraft fan and fan motor of my 25 year old JennAire C301 cooktop. The issue was getting the fan/motor assembly out in such a tight place. I had to first remove the fan cover, cut the wires, then the assembly came out. Putting back wasn't as tough although getting the cover back on (over the motor) was a bit of a strain. Wired it back, turned it on, and was thrilled. Now I'll replace the knobs and burners and we're back in business. Read more
