So, after looking for replacement parts, I found these. I was delighted. My original knobs were plastic with a silver finish. They had blistered from the heat of the stove over the years. The replacement knobs were all metal. Price was right. Very happy. Read more

Replaced above parts, easy to do, looks like a new stove. Needed to pry open knob stem slot segments very slightly to remove broken plastic from previous knobs. Spreading stem slot metal sides too much and they will break. With slots cleaned out, pinch stem sides almost together for new knobs to slide on. Second repair after 10 years of service - igniter had cracked and spill overs were causing the others to misfire. This was a two-step process. I took apart the cooktop to see what parts were neded. Screws were all rusted, I had to drill ome out. The burner gaskets broke during the process and needed replacement. One of the burners had deformed due to excess heat. Many of the replacement parts for my 23-year old Jenn Aire cook top are showing as "unavailable" on most parts supplier web sites, but I finally found the proper replacement knobs here. They fit perfectly and now the cook-top works as it should and looks practically new again. 1) I installed 4 ea new Whirlpool 700855K switches. (The old switches had INF-240P-871 stamped on them. 700855K was the cross-referenced P/N.) The installation was easy. There is slight difference in the terminal arrangement: 1) the old switch has raised terminals whereas the new switch has recessed terminals (for safety), and 2) the terminal markings are slightly different: The old switch has L1/L2/P/H1/H2 (5 terminals). Easy fix, removed broken knob put new knob on. Quick service but almost didn't see package with knob inside it. Who ever dropped it off at my door either put it next to my propane tank along side of my house or the wind blew it there. A white bag in snow next to a white tank, doesn't make a good area to leave package! Read more
