Thomas W Manassas , VA March 18, 2019 Appliance: Model LFX33975ST (02) LG er 1f error code (ice maker fan) I only needed the Bracket Assembly motor, not the DC Motor or Fan Assembly that I also ordered so I will be sending those back. The repair was extremely straightforward with a few bumps along the way. All told it took me about an hour. I started with shutting off the breaker for the refrigerator and putting all of the frozen food in coolers. Then I removed the drawers and the bracket for the drawer rails on the left side (as your facing the refrigerator). I then proceeded to gently pry off the back panel of the freezer, starting at the upper left corner. It was completely frozen in place so this took a little time. When I was able to partially pull the panel off I saw that it was chunk of ice frozen to the ice maker fan insulation and the wire bundle going to the coils. Once I melted all of that the panel lifted right out after removing the 3 wire connectors in the upper right of the back of the freezer. I then removed the four screws holding the fan in place and some electrical tape holding wires together. Used the same screws to put the new fan in place, and a re-ran and taped the wires. I reinstalled the back panel starting at the bottom and working my way around the bottom left clockwise. Pretty simple work and saved a $100 visit fee. Robert B Madison , WI October 09, 2019 Appliance: LG Refrigerator LFX31925ST ER FF code on the front of the refrigerator After clearing ice from the freezer fan area (twice) did not solve the problem, we presumed that the freezer fan/motor had stopped functioning. We looked up the parts on AppliancePartsPros website and ordered. The parts arrived within a day and a half. After watching a couple of installation videos, the parts were fairly easily replaced using standard screwdrivers. The freezer now works great! Gilbert G Wyoming , DE January 23, 2022 Appliance: LG Refrigerator LMXC23746S/00 Getting an e f1 error code (ice maker fan was not working). After searching online for more information about the error code and determining what the problem was (since we did not receive any helpful information in owner's manual), I ordered the part (ice maker fan) and also ordered the evaporator fan motor (since they are on the same panel) from AppliancePartsPros.com. When I removed the panel where the fans/motors are, the ice maker fan was sticky -- it would grind when trying to turn it by hand. I replaced both fans/motors on the panel and put the panel back on (getting the freezer drawers, door, and panel out was the part that took the longest). Nelline S Trinity , TX October 02, 2020 Appliance: Model 79574033411 KENMORE ELITE REFRIGERATOR Started out the ice maker wasn't working. OMG, there were videos to tell me just how and what to take off to get to the repair. It was amazing. It was a challenge knowing I could do it as a woman. We ended up changing about 6 to 8 parts..ice maker, water valve, three fans, thermostats. Was about to change out the control board when I found out the compressor was still in warranty. There was a little light on the control board which appliancepartspros personnel even walked me thru that it was either the control board or the compressor which was causing a flashing light on the control board to flash. I ended up calling Sears and had a service tech come out and tell me if it was compressor and he determined it was and changed it out with little cost for other parts. Appliancepartspros was so helpful. They walked me thru replacing the ice maker on three refrigerators. I'm a pro now and a woman of age 74 at that. Sam P Columbia Station , OH March 03, 2020 Ice maker error code After I got the parts I looked up a Youtube video on making repairs to a Kenmore Refrigerator. Even though the models shown were slightly different, I managed to disassemble the freezer and back panel and change out the parts. So far the ice maker has been working perfectly. You got me the right parts for a good price and gave excellent delivery. You also recommended I get the additional fan blade and fan motor, which I also replaced. Hopefully this will prevent any future failures so I don't have to go through another disassembly.
