Started off by replacing the water lines and valve, purchased from the same site. Thought I'd cured the problem, but no. Next step was to replace the icemaker, which is incredibly simple. Undo 2 screws, pop out the clips give the wiring harness a good tug and the whole lot comes out. Reverse the process to install the new one. This was easier then I made it. Originally took the actual ice maker out without removing the whole system from the door. There are 3 silver screws that do that hold the whole mechanism in place, as opposed to the 5 white screws that hold the ice maker in place. With the entire assembly out it was a matter of routing the ground wire, retaping the wires, and then the whole assembly went back into the door without a problem.
