This condenser fan motor assembly is located near the compressor at the bottom or rear of the refrigerator and circulates air over the condenser coils to dissipate heat. It helps the refrigerator maintain proper cooling temperatures efficiently. Replace this motor if the refrigerator is running warm, the compressor is overheating, or you no longer hear the fan running when the compressor is on.
Removed the old fan housing. Removed the fan from its housing and took the fan blade off. I then smelled the fan and it smelt of burnt insulation. I ordered a new fan and re-assembled in reverse order. Fan started up when compressor fired up. Fan was a plug & play item. Erroe Code cleared on the front and refrig is working fine. Only thing was the fan was not identical with the old one. It fit in the enclosure the same and the shaft was the same length. My old fan was 10 years old and they... Read more
If your refrigerator isn't cooling evenly or the freezer is noisy, the evaporator fan motor may have failed. This motor circulates cold air throughout.
This motor support damper sits between the refrigerator's compressor and base to absorb vibration and movement. Replacing a worn damper helps quiet rattles and humming from the back of the cabinet and keeps the compressor properly supported.
This DC motor drives the evaporator fan that circulates cold air from the evaporator coils throughout the refrigerator and freezer compartments. It is essential for maintaining even, consistent temperatures inside the unit. Replace this motor if the refrigerator is not cooling properly, the freezer is cold but the fresh food section is warm, or you hear unusual buzzing or grinding noises coming from behind the interior back panel.
I had a repair company come out. The part was on backorder from 3 wholesalers in California. Turns out the manufacturer had the wrong fan motor installed inside. It was way too small. I am taking the matter up with LG Read more

Refrigerator running hot or not cooling? A failed condenser fan motor prevents heat removal from the compressor. DIY repair in under an hour.
After a power surge caused by an electrical pole cross-arm breaking, our LG french door refrigerator wouldn't make ice, and both fridge and freezer were getting warmer. The bottom of the fridge doors (and subsequently the compressor) were extremely hot to touch so I took off the back cover and saw that the condenser fan wasn't spinning. After determining that was the issue, I set up an auxiliary fan to push the blades to cool the condenser and ordered the part from AppliancePartsPros.com (I... Read more
This fan assembly circulates air through the appliance so coils and internal components operate at the proper temperature. Replacing a failed or noisy fan can restore airflow and help prevent performance issues caused by weak circulation.
This DC drive motor replaces the appliance's main motor assembly to restore smooth, reliable drive performance. It powers drum/driven components for consistent operation and helps resolve drive-related run issues. What it does:
