I did 2 live chats with 2 agents over 4 days and confirmed the part I needed would work in New Zealand, as I had taken my washing machine and dryer with me. As the price had risen since my first contact and I could prove the price from the first visit, I was given a courtesy cheaper price. The parts arrived in as stated time in the USA (family posted to me in NZ) GREAT KARMA AppliancePro. Read more

I cannot believe this machine still runs. APP has sold me repair parts for this unit now 3 times. First I wanted to replace the old belts. They still worked but was more a preventative thing. Next was a water control valve a few years ago. This time I noticed a leak near the valve again. I decided to buy a new valve and also replace all the rubber hoses that were 35 years old. The repair took about 3 hours. 1.5 to remove the old parts and do a cleaning that was greatly needed. 0.5 hours to... Read more

Removed the agitator, then the spacer and lock screw, then the inside tub, then the mounting stem I replaced the agitator collar to fix the issue The hardest part on this project was removing the locks with the spanner wrench. It is not easy to break loose if the machine has never been repaired in 15 years. You need the rubber hammer and really hit hard to get loose. This is what took the longest. (Approximately 1 hour for me) Read more
Replaced the door assembly Before taking the door off the washer I painted the hinges with a little finger nail polish to enable the hinges to be replaced correctly. Used petroleum jelly on the outside of the vent grommet (18) so it could easily be slipped on to the door liner. Also used the petroleum jelly on the bottom of the vent tube (17) to fit into the vent grommet. Most difficult chore was rearranging the plastic lock support (3) to fit the door, the attaching the vent tube and finally... Read more
