Checked out the video on your site on how to disassemble the ice maker. Was really easy when you know the correct sequence. Only 3 screws and it's out of the freezer. Disassembled the ice maker on my kitchen counter and replaced the ice stripper. Reassembled and installed back in my freezer. It is as good as new Read more

I removed the back panel in freezer and light cover then the following: remove the rusted clips, unplug heater and replaced new heater, the thermostat defrost I unfasten, clip on replacement and connected plugs. Read more

I read the help guide on the AppliancePartsPros.com web site and then decided to test my defrost heater with a volt/ohm meter. I read an open circuit. I then removed the radiant heater element from the refrigerator and see nothing wrong with the element, but the connection on both sides to it, that resemble a spark plug wire to an automotive plug, was corroded to a powder making no electrical connection. Temporarily stuck a BMW lug bolt through the bracket and pivot opening to secure the door on the base, then waited just 3 days for the exact parts to come in from AppliancePros.
