I just replaced the glass lid and broken plastic frame with the all metal one. Removed the screws, lifted the old lid out of the hinges. Replaced the hinges, set new lid in the hinges and replaced screws. Read more

Ordered a replacement. Had to tip washer toward the back to provide access underneath to the pump. Had some difficulty removing the two hose clamps. Pliers were not the best tool. Had to ensure the drive belt was properly engaged with the pulley of the pump. Read more

Weekend laundry became very noisy, our 1987 Whirlpool washer began doing a dance across the floor and the drum was banging into the inner cabinet. After doing some research and watching a few videos on Appliance parts pros website. I inspected the washer and noticed one leg the rubber coating disintegrated, decided to change all four legs, springs and lid switch. Hardest part of the job is getting the cabinet together.
