I went to a local stove parts store to find a replacement. The store ordered the element for me and promised that it would arrive the next day. I waited for seven 'working' days,but the part never came. So I went online, and found the part in AppliancePartsPros.com. I ordered it in the evening of November 5, 2014, and the part was delivered the next day, November 6 at 11.08AM! Fantastic! I don't know how they could deliver that fast. • Noisy

1. After hearing a loud noise on the freezer side of unit about halfway up, I started investigating what it could be? My conclusion was evaporator motor or evaporator fan blade. One of the signs of this issue was a distinct change in sound when I opened the freezer door. I ordered a new motor and blade, not knowing exactly what it was. 2. The very easy diagnosis was motor seizure. Because the machine is about a decade old, I decided to renovate most of the guts. My DIY project included replacing the motor, blower, drum bearing, belt, and door hinge. The end result is a functional dryer with no left-over parts. • Door won't close

My dryer door would not stay shut because the door strike was stuck in the door catch. I was afraid that when I pulled the strike out, it would damage the catch, so I ordered the door strike and door catch. I got the damaged door strike out with needle nosed pliers in about 15 seconds. The door catch was in perfect condition so I didn't need to use the one I ordered. So then I proceeded to install the new door strike. Ordered the replacement part the recommended by your parts department. I then watched a video so I knew what was in Store. The part arrived in less than 2 days & 15 minutes later I was baking brownies!!!!! Voila!!! Done deal!!! Now I am going to order a second one to replace the lower oven's element since it's been 'off' for over a year.
