Needed installation parts. I ordered the parts from the company I purchased the appliances from. A week went by and no parts, called, emailed and called again to find out when the parts would arrive to be able to Re-schedule the installation. Ordered door latch part and new spring. You Tube video helped me identify what I needed. I tried the fix recommended and it didn't work so I ordered the parts. It took less than 5 minutes to switch out the old for the new. If the door doesn't latch, you can't run the microwave and it's key. It wasn't an expensive or hard fix to get my microwave up and running again. So pleased with AppliancePartsPros for having what I needed and being reasonable about pricing. Careful placement of new screws into the inside of the outer door that now hold the frame assembly to the door secured the frame assembly to the outer door. All of the other parts I bought and replaced were a waste of money. I figured since I had them I might as well install them anyways. Easier than sending them back since I had the whole thing apart anyways. The part I really needed was no longer available, the outside door. The glass reinstalled into the retainers in the door without a... Read more

I have a multimeter so I was able to check the fuse per website recommendations and it was blown. However, the capacitor on the microwave was also original so I elected to replace the capacitor, fuse, and the ground protect diode. The repair was very simple (making sure the capacitor was discharged before replacing) and the microwave is now up and running again. Added an additional light socket to the existing reflector. Changed the original 40 watt incandescent bulb to two 5 watt LED bulbs. It's actually bright enough for my old eyes now. Read more
