Lower ice bin broken Dennis B. • Wichita Falls , TX • March 30, 2020
Easy to remove the metal parts from the old bin. The only problem was that the screw that holds the adapter has red thread locker and screwdriver rounded off the head of the screw. Drilled the screw and heated the screw to loosen the thread locker and used an ease out to remove the screw.

Tipped it over on back of unit, supporting it with a little foot stool. Unscrewed two lower screws at bottom of unit holding black trim panel (that held wood panel in place) and lower black rubber flap. Replaced both sets of door cams on my Kenmore Elite Refrigerator. The most important thing to know is that you DO NOT have to remove the doors from the refrigerator to replace BOTH sets of cams. You just have to remove the lower grill which is a snap fit (I also turned off the water and unplugged the unit). My fridge has an ice and water dispenser where the water and electrical lines go through the cams on the left side. Be sure to order the correct parts as the cam holes on the freezer side...

A failed freezer door switch was causing the fridge to display that the door was open when it was not this caused it to beep at random Kara H. • Charleston , SC • March 08, 2016
We actually were able to determine that one of the freezer switches was bad and taped it down for about 3 days. The beeping stopped. Our fridge has two freezer switches and one fridge side switch. I ordered all three from these guys. They were cheaper than Whirlpool by about $20 for parts and about $15 for shipping. The part numbers had superseded too many times to count, usually that doesn't matter but in this case it did. The new parts were just slightly bigger than the old parts AND...

The motor needed to be re-clocked but this video https://youtu.be/QK8C8rxbkhc gave the information needed.
Between AppliancePartsPros.com and youtube I have rebuilt this fridge (water valve, Ice maker, Auger gearbox and ice shute door)
Probably could do the job in about 30 minutes now that I know how and exactly what needs to be done. Only needed the pliers to turn the motor shaft
