Removed the handle with two screws on the inside front and pulled out the custom wood panel. Pulled the compactor out from under cabinet. Tipped it over on back of unit, supporting it with a little foot stool. - Monitors bin fullness; in the up position it opens the internal switch to pause ice making
- Lowers as ice is used so the icemaker can resume cycles
- Restores manual shutoff when you lift the arm
What's included: One shut-off arm Install notes:
- Disconnect refrigerator power and turn off the water supply before servicing
- Remove the ice bin for access; open the icemaker front cover if your model has one
- Pull the old arm straight out of the pivot holes; align and fully seat the new arm so it moves freely
- Restore power and lower the arm to resume ice production; the arm raises and stops production when the bin is full
